The Identikal Foundry was the birth of Identikal. We created our first collection in 1998, releasing through Atomictype in early 1999. From our first release to present day we have created over 200 font families distributed worldwide. The foundry is internationally respected and viewed as one of the most ground breaking and forward thinking typeface collections.
The Identikal Foundry has won numerous awards and has been part of many exhibitions across the world including, Japan, Germany, USA and the UK.
A groundbreaking project which defined the gaming magazine genre, upon it’s launch in Dec 1999. Gaming magazines had never looked this cool until we produced this.
The magazine continues to be a source of inspiration to the gaming industry and beyond.

Working alongside respected Architects Softroom, we developed a brand identity and style, to suit this east meets west inspired bar/restaurant in Hong Kong.
It is now regarded as one of the top hot spots in the city.
The Biometals toy was a dice and card game created for a young age group of 6-13. We developed the identity, type design, iconography and even the unique concept of the stickard. We also produced the packaging for various other products within the range.
It has since become a cult success amongst game collectors across the globe.
Q magazine is one of the most respected music magazines worldwide. The Q Sounds project is a huge part of the Q Magazine brand, and demands the highest standard of design & art direction. The front cover was treated like an album cover which demanded higher creative thought and ability.
This particular project introduced us to a wider audience in the creative world.
For the European Cup in 2004, nike requested a fanzine style booklet to promote its products. Alongside Emap Publishing, we created this fanzine guide to the event, including illustrations and art direction.
This is the project that brought us into the upper echelons of art direction. Showcasing our skills in developing and building international ad campaigns, directing actors and working with musical icons.
For this project, we worked closely with the in-house Ted Baker architecture / interior design team. The LA store front design was inspired by lace patterns. This particular design also reflects the grand scale and beauty of some of the other store fronts located in the area. The project was difficult to work on due to the engineering of the design.
It has since become a landmark within the shopping district area of Robertson Blvd, LA.
Burlesque was a project that needed sophistication to get away from the ‘standard’ sleazy shows in Las Vegas.
The posters were displayed in and around Las Vegas. Flyers and also vip booklets were handed out to specific clients.
The famous Doc Martens brand will be launching a range of clothing for the U.S market. Identikal were approached to create all the graphics for the new collection, launching in 2009.
The Doc Martens project uses our studio to its full extent. Logo and Typeface Design, Illustration, Photography and Art Direction. The project showcases our full ability to develop and create at the highest level, and keep to the high quality standards set when we began our studio in 1998.
